From the outset, Window on Woking has been developed with the input of local community organisations. They have been influential in the design of the community web by participating in design workshops, providing feedback on developments and assisting with testing new features.
Influencing Future Development Priorities
Window on Woking Advisory Board has been formed to help steer the future development of the community web.
Membership of the Board brings together representatives of Woking Borough Council and community organisations that are actively using Window on Woking to promote their activities and Woking Association of Community Services (a project partner for the community web)
The Advisory Board's Key Objectives
- To provide feedback on the on the operation of the website
- To help identify improvements to existing features
- To recommend areas for new development and help the Council prioritise the order in which new features are developed
- To act as a 'sounding board' on proposed developments for the community web
