New form for Events upload
Description
This test form is part of a planned new release for the Events area within Window on Woking. Key feature of the new release include:
- Enabling events that are repeated on a regular basis to be uploaded. For example, if your organisation has a meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, you will be able to define this when you the event listing is created.
- Enabling a new event to be created by amending an existing entry.
- Providing a mechanism for displaying location Google location maps to accompany events.
- Creating a new search category based on the target audience or nature of the event (the existing search category is limited to the category of organisation)
- Adding the option to identify an event as being part of a group of events, such as a festival or season of events.
All of these features are accessed via a new version of the events upload form.
What we want to know
- How easy to use are the new features?
- Is the form sufficiently clear, or do we need to add further instructions?
To test the new form
The form is available to test by Editors and Publishers via their organisation's Administration Shell. If you would like to test the form, let us know and we will provide access to it.
