Visiting Woking

Situated in the heart of Surrey, in the green and leafy South East, Woking benefits from beautiful and diverse countryside and attractive waterways on its doorstep.

Woking has much to offer those who are looking for peace and tranquillity but it doesn't take long to find the Borough's bustling centre and its sparkling mix of entertainment, convenient shopping and special town centre events. Easily reached via excellent transport links, visitors will find the pedestrianised centre easy to get around.

When you're here, you can get free, up-to-the-minute information, and access to selected websites , via our touch-screen kiosks . These can be used at over a dozen locations already, and more are planned for the town centre.

At present, there is at least one kiosk at each of the following locations, most of which can be found on the town centre plan:

• The Maybury Centre
• The Shah Jahan Mosque
• Citizens Advice Bureau
• The Rotary Mobility Exchange
