WAVS exists to support, develop and promote voluntary activity in Woking.

WAVS is open 10.00 am to 4.30 pm Mon - Fri

The premises have wheelchair access and are on the ground floor

Woking Association of Voluntary Service provides a range of services to voluntary organisations and community groups in the Woking area, including:

 

 

  • Information, advice and training
  • Information, support and advice on Financial Reporting and Human Resources
  • Promoting voluntary work in the community and actively recruiting and placing volunteers in organsiations of their choice.
  • Acting as an 'umbrella' for all voluntary /Charitable activities
  • New initiatives & organisations in response to local needs
  • News via the WAVS newsletter "SOUNDWAVES"
  • Providing representation and advice to voluntary bodies in order that they may work togther in the best interests of their service users.
