The National Reye's Syndrome Foundation of the UK was formed to provide funds for the research in to the cause, treatment, cure, and prevention of Reye's syndrome including Reye- like illnesses, to inform both the public and the medical community and to provide support for parents whose children have suffered from these diseases.

Normandy Community Therapy Garden is an independent charity situated in Normandy, 6 miles north of Guildford. We offer placements for people with learning difficulties, mental health illness, addiction histories and other special needs. Professional staff are there providing support and guidance which could enhance employment prospects.

The main responsibilities of the PCT are to improve local people´s health and reduce health inequalities, and to work with hospitals, doctors and other organisations to develop and deliver better health care, as well as further developing the PCT´s own community services.

Overall aim is to promote greater awareness & empower people with disabilities to campaign for the improvement of services & facilities.

To assist people of all ages with asthma, chest, heart, stroke or similar health conditions.  Grants are available to help in the following areas: to pay household bills, to buy special equipment, to replace household appliances, to provide a holiday break at Pagham Holiday Village

Cruse Bereavement covers all aspects of bereavement care for all memebers of the public, including children, regardless of age, gender, class, culture, disability, ethnic origin, HIV status, race or sexuality.

To increase the respect with which adults with learning disabilities are held by others and themselves.  To increase the awareness and understanding about people with learning disabilities living in the community.  To train people who feel able to share friendship and a little time (as little as 1 hour a month) with adults with learning disabilities to enable them to enjoy the life experiences we take for granted e.g. shopping, dining out, sporting events etc.

To provide a quality, independent, voluntary counselling service to anyone seeking help with a problem or seeking personal growth.

To give help and support through the provision of a telephone helpline to gay, lesbian and bi-sexual people.
