• The aims of the Safer Woking Strategy Partnership are :
• Reducing crime - we will work together with main agencies and the public to reduce the levels of, and deal with the causes of, crime and disorder.
• Reassurance - we want to involve the public and work with all communities to reduce the fear of crime and provide people with a sense of safety and reassurance.

Details of how the partnership intends to meet these aims are laid out in the Community Safety Strategy 2005 - 2008

The strategy was based on two key pieces of research, the Woking Crime and Disorder Audit 2005 and the Community Safety Survey 2004.
