THE Church on Sheerwater

St Michael's in Dartmouth Avenue is the ONLY church on Sheerwater. We share our modern building with the Methodists, whose Deacon Richard Goldstraw works closely with the Priest in Charge, the Rev Jean Robinson. Our vicar is Woodham's Iain Forbes. His church, All Saints' is our sister church. We worship, we baptise, we confirm, we marry and we bury - we ARE at the centre of everyone's Sheerwater life - both geographically & spiritually for those who want to experience and live a daily Christian life. Our church services in 2009 included all these elements of life with a marriage, 6 confirmations and a couple of funerals too. We even had a pet service and have plans to do more in 2010! Come and join us at St Michael's every Sunday at 10.30 am for example - there's also three services annually with Broadmere School, our Wednesday Fellowship meetings, the Community Carers' lunch, 15 regular community bookings in the building, Little Angels, Rainbow (parent & toddler group), MIND, and the Social Committee. We host the annual Woodham Quiz Night. What do we do? What DON'T we do is more to the point! Join us to find out!
