So - how did the Fun Day go?

• A great day of family fun, for over 1,000 local people*
• Excellent Iron Man Triathlon by Woking Leisure Centre
• Egg & Spoon and Tug of War wonderfully exciting
• Quality performances by Blues Brothers & Sisters Band
• Face painting by South Woking Churches very popular
• Good opportunity to build community spirit in South Woking , and for local groups to share what's going on in the area.

A huge THANK-YOU to the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Woking , for opening the event, to Cllr Norman Johns and Cllr Derek McCrum for their contributions, and to all those who freely gave their time and expertise.

Thanks to Ian Allan Motors and the Police for sponsoring the event, and to New Life Church for managing it, with massive support from the Gloster Road and Priors Croft Residents' Ass, the WI and the Moorcroft Centre.
