Secretary
Runnymede Dolphins are looking for an efficient and computer literate secretary who is able to attend their 6 yearly meetings (usually Friday am) held in Chertsey, as well as the additional follow-up administration and other duties from home.Duties include preparing agendas, taking and distributing minutes, booking meeting rooms, writing letters, collating AGM annual report, updating rule book and committee contact details. Log important charity dates, deadlines and CRB Checks.
Secretarial skills are required however shorthand is not essential. Applicants must be PC literate, at least to Microsoft Word and Outlook email.
Swim Assistant
To assist adults of all ages and a range of disabilities to take part in swimming and physio sessions at Woking Pool in the Park.Volunteers need to be able to swim and have an understanding of health and safety risk assessments. Volunteers need to be free from illnesses or conditions that would put them or others at risk, e.g. Chlorine allergy, epilepsy, heart problems.Training will be provided free to volunteers and will include training on using the hoist and on emergency evacuation procedures. Disability Awareness Training will also be provided. The sessions will take place between 11am and 1.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Applicants must be caring, fit and strong. Volunteers will be Criminal Records Bureau checked. Transport can be provided from pick up points within Runnymede.
