We play Lawn Bowls from mid-April to the end of September and hold social activities throughout the year. Our 2012 season started on Saturday 14th April with an Open Day when we offered free taster sessions for anyone interested in trying out lawn bowling. The day was very successful and the Club will be running beginner courses during May and into June.
We are keen to promote community participation in the game and to this end both beginners and experienced players of all ages are welcome at this friendly club. If you missed the Open Day or if you are looking for an event for your group or company to enjoy a light hearted game of bowls, team building and fun at the same time, then please contact our Secretary on the above contact number. She will be happy to discuss what the Club can provide. The clubhouse has a capacity of 60, has bar facilities and a buffet meal can be arranged for group visits if required.
Please contact Roger Tapley regarding the hire of hall. The hall is disability friendly and ideal for classes, parties and family get togethers. Roger can be contacted on 01483 767162 or randmabbeyroad@tiscali.co.uk
Please contact Tricia Nigh for any press or publicity issues. She can be contacted on 01483 760170 or tricianigh@gmail.com
Coaching takes place during the summer months overseen by our coaching team. Why not come and introduce yourself to our coaching administrator, Hamish Anderson who is a qualified Level 2 club coach approved by the Surrey County Bowling Association (S.C.B.A.). Bowls can be provided if you wish to try bowling for the first time.
For the 2012 playing season, the Club has increased it's coaching team by a further 5 members who have qualified to coach beginners under the supervision of our coaching administrator.
