Goldsworth News got a new Editor from Novembers Edition

For the eagle-eyed amongst you, the editors details on page 2 will make this clear that there is now a new editor of the Goldsworth News (John Green) from Nov 2008. He has been producing articles for the newsletter more and more each month this year and now is ready to takeover from me (Andy Jones). I will continue to support him in his role and if needed will be a backup editor. I also will continue to do the GPCA and Goldsworth News website.

He has been a regular attendee at GPCA meetings. I could not attend these more than once or twice a year. So this gives you a better service. 

As you are probably already aware it is an important edition this month as the shops application has only just been made known to us.

But I have seen a proof copy and the story is on the front page and continues inside.

Please continue to use goldsworthpark@yahoo.co.uk for all Goldsworth News and website communications, though John's contact details will be on page 2.

On a personal note, I would like to thank all the deliverers who make sure you get your copies. I will also continue to do this in my road.

I would also like to thank all the contributors of articles, the printers of the paper and all the hard workers at the GPCA who made it easy to do the work. Remember if you can spare an hour or two a month you can help by delivering or by attending your GPCA meetings. We welcome new blood!

I could not beat your length of service or your excellent work.

But I feel I have safeguarded the newsletters long existance (since 1976) and kept in going to maintain your legacy and will continue to keep an eye on it for you.
