News from the Regional Assembly
Monitoring Report 2005
The Assembly’s latest Regional Monitoring Report shows that the South East is making better use of its resources such as water and land. These are the first signs of behaviour change that will help us achieve new targets for a sustainable future set out in the South East Plan, the Assembly’s 20-year planning vision. The report uses key national, regional and local data to monitor progress towards targets in current planning guidance and the Integrated Regional Framework. It can be downloaded from the publications section.
Planning Gain Supplement (PGS)
New research on the financial impact of the proposed Planning Gain Supplement concluded that a PGS and a tariff based system would have the potential to yield significantly more resources than present arrangements. Details can be found on the South East Plan website.
