The Muslim/Moslem Cemetery on Horsell Common.
The injured Asian soldiers during WW1 were treated in Brighton Pavilion (see photo below).

Those that died of Hindu and Sikh faiths were cremated near to Brighton.
As the Muslim dead needed burial it was decided to site the memorial near to the Woking Mosque.
Here is what is written on a board on the memorial. There is also a recent info board by the car park nearest the memorial.

THIS ENCLOSURE WAS BUILT IN
1915 AS A BURIAL GROUND FOR
INDIAN SOLDIERS WHO LOST
THEIR LIVES IN SERVICE TO
THIS COUNTRY DURING THE
GREAT WAR. THE GRAVES HAVE
BEEN REMOVED BUT THE WALLS
REMAIN AS A REMINDER OF THAT
SACRIFICE AND ITS ASSOCIATION
WITH THE EASTERN WORLD.
THE HORSELL COMMON
PRESERVATION SOCIETY
HOPE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR
THE COMPLETE RESTORATION
OF THIS HISTORIC RELIC.
