Thanksgiving for Great War Survivors

This is an unusual War Memorial in that it lists those who came back from the Great War instead of those that died.

St Andrews Church was built as a daughter church of St Marys to show how thanks for those that returned.

It was closed and some of the money was given towards the cost of our St Andrews at Goldsworth Park.

A 'St Andrews Room' was built in 1987 alongside St Marys Church and this houses the memorial taken from the original St Andrews Church.
