The Muslim/Moslem Cemetery on Horsell Common.

MOSLEM CEMETERY
THIS ENCLOSURE WAS BUILT IN
1915 AS A BURIAL GROUND FOR
INDIAN SOLDIERS WHO LOST
THEIR LIVES IN SERVICE TO
THIS COUNTRY DURING THE
GREAT WAR. THE GRAVES HAVE
BEEN REMOVED BUT THE WALLS
REMAIN AS A REMINDER OF THAT
SACRIFICE AND ITS ASSOCIATION
WITH THE EASTERN WORLD.
THE HORSELL COMMON
PRESERVATION SOCIETY
HOPE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR
THE COMPLETE RESTORATION
OF THIS HISTORIC RELIC.
Please do not destroy it.
