History of Goldsworth Park Development in Brief

Goldsworth Park house building work started 1973

First GP Resident in the newly built houses 1974

(Some people lived in a few houses that were built long before such as Langmans and Long Lane Cottage which date from the 1500's)

The first record of anyone living in our area was of flints found in the Parley Bridge area of the Goldsworth Park Recreation Ground which date from the Stone Age!

Goldsworth Newsletter started 1976
