Goldsworth News 2008 : 017 Incident by BP Garage Monday Evening

On Monday Evening at approx 19:30 a car and cyclist were in collision at the entrance to Waitrose Car Park.

The cyclist was given medical aid at the scene by a technician who was walking by and later South East Coast Ambulances and Surrey Police arrived on the scene. We do not know any more about his condition than this however.

We hope the cyclist makes a full and speedy recovery.

Goldsworth News would like to say thank you to all the people who stopped and helped at the incident.

This shows again that Goldsworth residents will help each other out in time of need.

If the coach driver that was passing after and gave his first aid kit and then left the scene needs to get in touch with us please email us here at goldsworthpark@yahoo.co.uk and this also applies to any one involved and whoever ended up with the kit.

However please on a cautionary note:

When you are a DRIVER driving past such an incident in future PLEASE DO NOT GAZE at the scene whilst continuing to drive forward on the WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD.

Another crash was narrowly averted where this behavior occured that evening.
