FotE provides care to older adults which range from home support to nursing and dementia care
The Bernard Sunley Nursing Home in Woking, Surrey was newly built in 2000, and is a bright, spacious building with modern facilities. It is registered to provide care for 25 residents requiring nursing care and also features a self contained, dedicated unit for 35 people with dementia who require more specialised support.
The attractive building is set around two central garden courtyards, which residents can enjoy whenever they wish. Residents are encouraged to visit nearby shops and facilities if they are able to do so.

Bed-sitting rooms are fully furnished and have en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Each room has a television point and telephone socket, giving additional privacy and choice.
All food is freshly prepared by our cooks, and residents can choose from our varied menus for their main meal at lunchtime, plus a hot supper in the evening. Light snacks are always available. All meals are served in the dining rooms or, if the resident prefers, in their own room.
Bernard Sunley features four spacious sitting rooms, two dining rooms and a beauty room where local hairdressers, manicurists and chiropodists visit regularly.
Our Activities Organisers encourage residents to use the hobbies room and become involved in the many social activities on offer, including exercise classes, competitions, quizzes and crafts. Weekly services are held in Bernard Sunley's own chapel, conducted by local clergy, to which all residents are warmly invited.
Our professional staff all attend regular training to ensure that they provide an excellent standard of care. Staff assist with bathing, dressing and all the activities of daily life, as required. A call system operates in all rooms and communal areas, giving residents peace of mind that they can summon help at any time, day or night. 24 hour nursing care is provided and other medical services are provided each week by a local GP, who also provides emergency cover.
