Churches Together in Woking is a Forum which meets four times a year, and which all local Christian Churches are welcome to join.
The prime aim is to find ways in which we can work together, serving both the liturgical and the practical needs of the community of Woking. Ecumenical Services are arranged throughout the year: Christian Unity Week, One World Week, and Easter in particular.
When the need arises, member Churches pool their resources (people, money, and facilities) to support various schemes within the community such as Woking Winter Watch, Woking Churches Tenancy Support Scheme for the homeless, Schools Christian Action Team (assemblies, CUs and Clubs), Cross-Cultural Ministry, Town-wide BBQ, Christmas Day Dinner, etc.
Churches Together in Woking has links with Churches Together in Surrey, and Churches Together in UK and Ireland.
Are you interested in knowing more about the Christian faith?
If so, please email us, ideally leaving your telephone number and someone will call you and answer any questions you have and give you whatever information you need. There's no pressure. It is helpful if you can let us know a little about you in advance, though; e.g. whether you have had any previous religious experience or upbringing and whether you have or had any link with any Christian church or other faith in the past or not.
Alternatively, feel free to contact any of the churches listed on this website who would be pleased to speak to you if you explain your interest. "
