I am married to Gill and have two grown up children one of whom lives in the USA and the other in Putney . Both Gill and I were born on Merseyside and we moved to Pyrford in 1980.
My career background was a finance man with Shell. I retired in 2000.
I was first elected to Woking Borough Council in 2000 and re-elected in 2003 and again in 2007.
At the time I stood for re-election in 2007 I said that I believed that my job as a Borough Councillor was to LISTEN to residents and to work to deal with their problems. This I have tried to do throughout my time on the Council - and residents are always most welcome to contact me by telephone, email or letter.
