The newly refurbished Parkview Centre was officially opened by the mayor of Woking, Cllr Peter Ankers on Saturday 24 January 09. Many residents of Sheerwater were present to celebrate and enjoy the day. The wonderful performances from the talented young, brought the day alive with ballet and tap to streetdancing and a DJ mix workshop.                                                     

The funding and renovation was supported by your Conservative ward Councillors. I hope the centre from now on meets the community needs in Sheerwater, and focuses on the health and well- being of the whole community.

 PARKVIEW is the new name given to the community centre by sheerwater residents.
