I am absolutely delighted that after trying for 4 years I have finally managed to arrange for the Community Shop on Ash Rd. to be opened as a Young People's Drop in Centre.

Following my invitation to Woking's YMCA's CEO, Terry Eckersley, his Youth Officer Paul Langtree and Woking Borough Council's Youth Development Officer Sarah Henderson will open the Community Shop, initially for one evening a week, starting on Monday 26th Januaty.

I have supplied a Snooker Table and Dart Board to get them started. Free Pizza and drinks will be available on the first evening. All Barnsbury residents have been invited to come and have their say on how the Drop in Centre should progress.
