I was alerted by residents living above Sainsbury's that they were being kept awake by drilling and hammering up to and beyond midnight, as a result of a refurbishment programme. WBC Environmental Health department was alerted and ensured that the disturbance would not continue. I have persuaded the owner of the building to clear the blocked drain outside the Hospice Shop and to install yellow lines to stop parking on the corner of the building. It is hoped that the yellow markings to warn of disabled access will also be refreshed soon. Customers appreciate my efforts to keep the area free of litter and the new drain to stop the flooding at the entrance on Vicarage Rd.
