I joined the Council in May 2007 and represent Horsell West Ward for the Conservatives.
I have lived in Horsell for 36 years and my husband and 2 daughters were born here.
I have been a teacher in both Junior and Senior Schools in the state and private sectors and was a deputy headteacher for several years. For the last 4 years I have been an ESOL teacher at the Maybury Centre in Woking teaching adult learners English.
I have been a member of the Coign Church in Woking for 25 years and my husband is one of the leaders there.
I am a trustee of SCAT (Schools Christian Action Team) which goes into Junior and senior schools in the area to take assemblies and children's clubs.
I also am a trustee of The Woking People of Faith Forum which seeks to bring people of different faiths together to promote understanding between them.
