The Chinese Association of Woking [ CAW ]is a Registered Charity with Company Limited by Guarantee status.
It organises and maintains the following educational, cultural and social activies:
# Chinese Community School [ Woking Chinese School ] that provides Chinese education in Cantonese and Mandarin languages, from basic to GCSE/A levels for 5-18 years old. It also provides adult Mandarin and Cantonese conversation classes and many after school cultural activities.
# Chinese Community Project [ CCP ] with a diversed programme once a month.
# Various projects and workshops supported by external fundings like English Class, Dress Making, Chinese Paintings, Chinese Musical Instruments, Chinese Dance, Kung Fu, Lion & Unicorn Dance and Youth Badminton.
# Traditional Chinese events such as Chinese New Year and Mid-Autumn festival.
And participates in:
# One World Week, Woking Carnival and other community events.
# Chinese Dance, Lion & Unicorn Dance and Kung Fu performances in the community - schools, Nursing homes, local parish church and other community events.
