BYFLEET, WEST BYFLEET & PYRFORD RESIDENTS' ASSOCIATION 
The search is on for residents who care enough about the three villages to become involved with the local Residents´ Association, the Byfleet, West Byfleet and Pyrford Residents´ Association.
Vacancies have arisen due to the work that this successful Association undertakes on behalf of all its members. The membership database now stands at approximately 5000 people.
The Byfleet, West Byfleet & Pyrford Residents´ Association was formed 80 years ago, in December 1928, and continues today to care about the wellbeing of our community. We work closely with our local councillors, Woking Borough Council, Surrey County Council and the police, voicing concerns where appropriate, asking clarification of new proposals etc.
No matter how much time and effort volunteers wish to devote to the association, you will find a warm welcome and infinite help and guidance.
We are too successful for our own good and need more hands to join the winning team.
It can be said that our villages as we know them today are partially the result of efforts made in previous decades to present the views of local residents.
In the words of our late President, Howard Cook, "through inaction we get what we deserve, and if everybody left it to somebody then nobody would do anything"
So please ask yourself, are you able to give a little time to the community in which you live?
