Christmas Lights

Thanks to a donation from West Estates Developers, the Amenities Group were able to purchase Christmas lights for the large tree on Plough Green. Installed by Serco, they brightened the area which has not been lit for some time.

On Thursday, 23 November, 2006 the tree was lit for the second year running with contributions to the electricity and installation costs provided by Fire Solutions of Byfleet and David Wilson Homes. Christmas lights 2005 

On 24 November, 2005, the lights were switched on by Father Christmas in conjunction with the Village Hall illuminations.  A good turn out of residents was captured by the Byfleet News and Mail (below).
