Autumn Fayre

The Autumn Fayre on Saturday, 30 September, 2006 drew 16 enthusiastic stallholders offering a vast range of handmade goods and crafts.  A variety of cakes, jams, cookies and pickles were available to tempt the palate.  Hand knitted scarves and boas, wooden toys as well as canal barge art were offered in various forms.  Candles and cards were available for all occasions. 

The Amenities Team organised a painting competition and a lucky dip for children.  There was also a raffle and teas, coffees and refreshments were provided.  Decore was supplied in the form of a large scarecrow by Crockford Bridge Farm Shop.  Proceeds were in aid of the lights for the Christmas tree on Plough Green.
