Beaufort is a community primary school with more than 200 children, ranging in age from 4 to 11 years old. We are situated in extensive grounds on Goldsworth Park.
At Beaufort School we aim to inspire a curiosity that enables children to explore, enjoy and protect the world around them; to be fully engaged and understand the learning process; to demonstrate a respect for each other and themselves, as confident members of society. Beaufort believes in delivering a high quality educational programme, whilst ensuring that the welfare and care of the child is at the heart of everything we do. At Beaufort we design our learning activities to encourage their interest and deliver the curriculum in a cross curricular approach.
We actively encourage parent support and interest in your child´s education. Weekly newsletters keep parents informed of events in the school, and an annual survey is taken to gather the views of parents on a range of school issues. Parent Governors have been key in the re-launch of the PTA as the `Friends of Beaufort School´. We also offer a variety of after school clubs, which are well attended. Beaufort Community Primary School has become one of the first schools in Surrey to `go-live´ with their Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), also known as a Learning Platform. The communication and collaboration between staff, pupils and parents has further been enhanced, as a result.
The above is a brief outline of what Beaufort can offer; please visit our website www.beaufort.surrey.sch.uk/ for further information.
