Amnesty International, Woking Group

The local group of Amnesty International participates in campaigns about human rights, such as the recent ones on Stop Violence Against Women Campaign, Control Arms, torture, and refugees, as well as campaigning for our 'own' Syrian prisoner of conscience. We also raise specific cases and issues of concern with our M.P. and press for legislative changes where appropriate.

We meet every first Monday of each month at 8pm, except in August (second Monday when first is a public holiday). Meetings are held at Trinity Methodist Chruch, Brewery Road, Woking.
