Over the next few months, the Sheerwater community is being given the opportunity to have a say in planning for its future! Surrey Community Action, a local charity, will be leading on a project to gather the needs and issues of Sheerwater's residents and organisations, in order to begin planning for a better quality of life for all in the community.
This piece of work is being supported by Woking Borough Council, Woking Association of Voluntary Service and the Sheerwater Maybury Partnership, as well as many other local organisations.
It is hoped that in the longer term this project should lead to increased community action to improve quality of life, as well as more targeted support from organisations delivering services to Sheerwater.
